As Christian Lacroix packs up its offices, warehouses, showrooms and designs, tears are flowing. It's not often a fashion business as big as this goes bankrupt, but its clear that the recession and global financial fuck-up is hurting everyone.
The traditional ending to a Lacroix show with the bridal gown is a fanciful and optimistic gesture. Let's hope some investors show some interest in resurrecting this famous brand.
